We are looking for a personable, detail-oriented service manager to join our growing organization. In this position, you will provide excellent customer service experiences and maintain strong relations with technicians, departmental managers and personnel, vendors, and customers. As such, you must be a positive, energetic leader who excels in working in a collaborative environment. Candidate must have previous mechanical (all areas of truck engine repairs) and managerial experience.
Responsibilities:
- Review customer repair order log (daily basis)
- Assign workload for day
- Review open repair orders
- Follow up on technician repairs notes and status of repair order
- Look for any up-sale opportunity
- Ensure all repair orders are closed in a timely manner
- Ensure all service personnel (including self) up to date on vendor training requirements
- Maintain personnel training logs, performance, and efficiency
- Review technician proficiency reports
- Monitor staffing levels, compensation levels, and department turnover
- Review and process monthly departmental sales/cost analysis
- Handle customer complaints, issues or concerns in a professional manner
- Maintain required OSHA work safety protocols and requirements (Federal, State and Local laws)
- Work with all other company departments
Requirements For Position:
- Computer literacy; navigate OEM sites, office programs, Dealer management programs, diagnostic software, and basic computer knowledge
- Strong supervisory and communication skills
- Previous diesel-mechanical repair knowledge
- Valid Driver License
- B CDL license (passenger, air brake and tank endorsements) or potential to achieve at later date
We are looking for physically fit candidates with good attention to detail for the position of Parts Driver.
Employee will operate a company van or box truck to deliver needed parts to a multitude of customers, from large fleets to independent shops.
Verification of parts to invoices prior when loading vehicles for delivery. Consistently assist customers in a professional, courteous manner. Clean driving record is required.
Responsibilities:
- Always treat the customers with respect
- Answer phones when a customer calls
- Look up the parts correctly, pull them and bill the customer
- When a customer has new return or core write them up a slip
We are looking for physically fit candidates with good attention to detail for the position of Diesel Mechanic.
Responsibilities:
- Performing diagnostic tests on diesel and gas vehicles to find faults
- Analyze diagnostic test results and repairing or replacing engine, steering, transmission, braking or lighting system components.
Candidate needs to be highly organized and communicate effectively, as they will be expected to maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles on a daily basis.
Experience on Cummins vehicles preferred but not required. Valid driver’s license required, CDL Class A/B with passenger and air brake endorsements also preferred.
